Pulse-ating start to int'l careers
This fall, Pulse's Caribbean Model Search alumni Nastasshia Mitchell, Jheanelle Lennox and Danielle Kay Northover will be looking to break through on the international scene, in their quest for international model stardom.
The trio will be seeking agency representation in New York during the upcoming fashion season - the first step to success in the major markets. This is in line with a thrust by Jamaican model management leader Pulse to launch the international careers of several new stars in 2014.
The initiative is off to a bright start with the recent success of Francine James and Alysia Francis, with several others, including the likes of CMS winner Soshanna Robinson, waiting in the wings. Current Million Dollar Model Search entrants are an even newer talent pool from which new stars are expected to emerge.
Talents such as Alysia Burke, Danielle Richards and Assania Cardosa have already received Pulse contracts, with a number of others to come, both before and after the event's finale on August 31.
Earlier this year, Pulse launched the search for The Million Dollar Girl. After the finals, the top contestants will become finalists in the Pulse CMS Reality TV show, which will air on CVM in the fall. The winner will be awarded $1 million in cash and prizes.
Since 1980, the pulse search has produced fashion legends such as Kimberley Mais, Angela Neil, Carla Campbell, Romae Gordon, Althea Laing, Lincoln Wynter, Nicola Vassell, Sunna Gottshalk and Lois Samuels, as well as more recent supermodels Jeneil Williams, Oraine Barrett, Jaunel McKenzie, Nell Robinson and Nadine Willis.
Interested new faces who think that they could be the one, are asked to contact Pulse at 960-0049.
