Vivica Fox was a radiant birthday girl in a floor-length canary yellow bejewelled gown with a thigh-high slit from local design house of Uzuri International. Her dress was accessorised with green strappy sandals and a green clutch by BCBG.
Kimberly Issa-Sherlock chose a black- and-white chevron-striped sheer maxi dress with a black bodice which flowed in the coastal winds. Her beau André Marriott, was sporting a blazer in a Tiffany blue colour and grey pants in a small checkered design.
Nadia McLachlan, director of Codners Service Station, sported a white jumpsuit perfectly accessorised with a tribal-inspired necklace from River Island made with neon stones. She complemented the necklace with a similar embellished envelope clutch. This look shows that the right pairing of accessories carefully selected can add high glam to an otherwise understated look - excellent choice.
This attendant gave a nod to prints in a bright abstract design shown in a strapless jumpsuit and high wedges. Her long earrings went well with her side-swept hair and the look is not overdone because she chose non-competing silver jewellery and a black envelope clutch.
Talia Soares, co-host of Intense, sported a figure-hugging black floor-length jersey dress with sheer cut-outs. The choice to keep the jewellery minimal was a good one because of the cut-out detail on the dress.

A 50th birthday celebration signifies luxe and glamour unrivalled by any other, and that's what international movie star Vivica Fox received from Columbus Communications when they hosted her soirée last Saturday night. The guests were fêted on the lawns of The Rose Hall Country Club, decorated in a chic and snazzy theme.

Female guests donned the hit looks of today - flowy chiffon dresses, chic jumpsuits, polished pencil skirts and rib-baring midriff tops - while their male counterparts chose resort chic in linens and sport blazers. Take a look at some of the looks that made our fashion spotlight.
