There are many details that need to come together to make the wedding day perfect, and the nails, though small, are very important.

When it comes to that perfect manicure, the traditional French manicure is usually the go - to style. However, as with many other things, that is also changing. While some opt to keep it traditional, many are adding a twist and incorporating their wedding colours into their nail designs.

Martina Morgan of Martina's Nail Place loves to be a part of her brides' special day, and loves to do the designs as much as the brides love getting them done.

"My favourite nail design for a wedding is the design where I use rhinestones to make a flower. It has a clean look," said Morgan.

While extravagant is not something many brides go for, even when deviating from the traditional French tips, there are a few who do want to go all out.

"Well, the most surprising request I received on wedding nails was really an out-of-the-box for wedding nails. It was very flashy with all the colours of the rainbow, and I could not convince her otherwise," notes Morgan.

But whatever design you choose, how your nails are done for that special day is a personal choice.
