Yes to this dress

Ro-Yen Chin Forbes in her white Lazaro Perez gown I believe all bridal dresses are beautiful, and I had a hard time selecting one dress of the million that are out there. This one had a little bit of everything- delicate lace detail, mermaid silhouette, a little poof in the tulle, a sweetheart neckline and a chapel train. Plus I wanted Delano to fall in love all over again. It worked!
I choose this dress because I immediately loved it as soon as I put it on, and I felt beautiful in it. Before I was engaged, I never really spent much time fantasizing about a wedding or what I would look like on that day. I had no preconceived notion of what style of dress I had to have. I was very open, which made the decision of what to wear overwhelming at first. However, it didn't take me long to find 'the one'. I flew to Toronto to go dress shopping with my mom and best friend, who was also my Maid of Honor. When I came out of the dressing room with my wedding dress on, everyone was speechless. No alterations or discussion needed. It was clear. The key was the corset back, which created an extremely flattering silhouette. I adored the beading and pick-ups, which added drama, but not too much. Deep down inside, I also knew Rick, my husband, would love me in this dress. Charline K. Gipson
I knew right from the start that I didn't want to wear a traditional wedding dress, mainly because I wanted something individual and something that would be 'me'. I fell in love with the black and white dress by Australian designer Carla Zampatti because I love timeless looks and I knew it would be a dress I would never get tired of. Tina Nicolaidis-Morris
I fell inlove with this Mori Lee (1802) at the first fitting. Mori Lee's designs caters to thick and sexy. This stunning dress is modern and romantic, with just enough bling. The bodice of the dress fits and definitely flatters. I felt regal and beautiful.
Annesha McCallum-Davis' dress spoke to her. I went to a bridal expo and saw the dress then decided to try it. When I did, I felt the butterflies, it looked fantastic!

My mom picked my dress. I knew how I wanted to look for my wedding, but mom pulled the dress. My wedding was in September and in order to have my dress in time, to do the adjustments, I had to order the dress in March. I made two appointments the first at RK Bridal and the second at Kleinfeld. My mom went to both places prior to me getting to New York and already knew what she had in mind for me. Mom and my mother- in-law and my sister- in- law met at RK Bridal. When we got to the third dress, I was just blown away. You know its the right dress when all the other brides- to- be stop and stare. The dress covered up the goodies like my mom wanted but managed to be sexy. Thanks mom. Kaydiann Sutherland Sangster
I had a super short engagement- 4 months. Definitely not enough time to traditionally find, order and fit a dream wedding dress. So I procrastinated because I figured I missed it so I'll probably get one off eBay. Four weeks from my wedding I still had no dress. One night I had a dream about my wedding dress and the designer Alfred Angelo came before me. I jumped up and went on the website. The first picture that came up was of the most amazing dress and I thought 'that's my dress'. It was the Ariel dress from the newly released Disney Princess Collection. Turns out an Alfred Angelo store was20 minutes from my house. I told them the dress I was looking for. I tried it and loved it. It was form fitting to my little petite figure. This one accentuated my little 90lb figure. They asked me when was the wedding and I said in four weeks. They said - can't do it. But then the sales lady decided to try their warehouse and would you believe they had one size ZERO just sitting there waiting to be shipped? Yes, it was my dress. It was destined to be. I chose it because I fell in love with the minute I saw it online. And when I fitted it at the store, it was all I had ever dreamed of for my wedding day.
I didn't have an appointment and went with Opal (my sister and Maid of Honour) on a mission to get my dress and bridesmaid dresses too. I told them I get stressed easily so only wanted to try three dresses. They said they had one that was within my budget. To be honest it was the first one I tried and as I tried the other two, I could not stop thinking about it. It was a done deal. It has just enough details without being overdone and it wasn't too puffy. To this day I stil love it. -Kerry-Ann Barrett
Brata: This gorgeous ivory beaded ivory vintage inspired beaded gown from Bliss Bridal, is paired with a non-traditional statement necklace from Fontana Pharmacy. The budget friendly necklace works because it mirrors the shape of the neckline on the gown and adds drama. A more buxom bride could choose a smaller necklace to avoid bulk and a small necklace would also enhance cleavage.

Chirleen Drysdale. I wanted a dress that represented my style, attitude and personality. I enjoy having 'bling' and glitters and wanted a close fitting dress, hence this mermaid gown from JJS House. I also wanted something I had never seen before.
Camesha Allman. I wanted a dress that was light weight but made me look and fell like a bride. My priorty was comfort, I didn't want anything to pull me down. With all that in mind, I decided to take the first dress that made me cry, I tried on a few and this Sophia Tolli was the only I felt emotional in.
Contributed Photo Kamille Adair-Morgan I love my dress, a Jasmine bridal couture gown because it represents my style perfectly- very sleek with the right amount of pizzaz.

By far, the wedding dress is one of the single most important elements of a wedding. A lot hinges on the dress. Each bride has her special dress out there which is based on her preferences and venue. The right dress will make a bride feel like the princess she has always dreamt of being. Flair did the groundwork and spoke to real brides who told us why they said yes to the dress.
