Couples feted before the wedding

On Wednesday, January 28, the 14 lucky Couples of 14.14.14, were feted by main sponsor LIME and event organisers MSW Events at The Jamaica Pegasus. Thirteen couples were announced last Friday in The Gleaner and the 14th couple was selected on LIME's Facebook page through a series of votes from fans. After a 24-hour voting session, 25-year-old Dadrian Hosang and his fiancée, Tavian Brooks, 22, were selected as the 14th couple by LIME's fans online.

The meet and greet, started with an official word by Cortia Bingham, public relations and marketing manager, followed by a review of pre- and post-activities for the couples by Monique Walcott, managing director of MSW Events. As the bevy of activities and prizes were unveiled, the excitement exuded, as a huge applause erupted in the room, as well as a few tears. The moment was further amplified by the announcement of Moet & Chandon's involvement in 14.14.14.

"Moet promises to make a special moment for all lucky couples. We are a premium brand and we found this synergy to be a perfect one, because of the level of execution over the years," said Jared Samuel, brand manager, Moet.

Kim Lee, head channel marketing, sponsorship and promotion at LIME Jamaica, also added to the enthusiasm by issuing complimentary LIME Huawei Y 330 mobile phones to the lucky couples. LIME will also offer a honeymoon weekend for two at Secrets Resorts & Spa. Other prizes include dresses and tuxedos from Petals & Promises, catering & dÈcor by Jacqui Tyson, Top Shelf, Ribbiz & Eskay Catering. The couples will be transported by Fidelity Motors on all excursions, including a visit to Blue Hole, St Ann. Additionally, all couples will be afforded a complete makeover by Adam & Eve Day Spa and a celebratory party at

Privilege Night Club.
