On Saturday February 14, 14 couples from across the island will say I do in the second annual wedding spectacular - 14-14-14.

According to Managing Director Monique Walcott, "With one week to go, the excitement and the nerves are high ... the couples are still in disbelief that only a month ago they were wondering if they would be one of the lucky winners. They are busy with final dress fittings at Petals & Promises and tuxedo fittings with Beautiful Brides & Mr Tux."

She told Flair that it's a packed week, not just for the couples but also for the sponsors, who are busy designing the dreams of each couple. Today, the couples will have a Moet & Chamdon lunch courtesy of Wray & Nephew; Starlight production is working on a dance floor no one can resist; From Thought to Finish, New Levels, Elegant Weddings, Helen G, Novelty Party rentals, Jermaine Decor, Dawn Leyow and Sharon Bair are all putting the final touches together to make these dreams a reality. Eskay catering and Ribbiz Ultra Lounge are also carefully selecting the best ingredients to offer mouth-watering and delectable dishes for all 14 couples and their specially invited guests.

Their cakes are being designed by Cake Couture, Cakes by Robert, Sweet Mischief, Cakes by Layota and Julian Pastries.

With 14 couples, it is essential that each feels that they are special, even though it's a mass ceremony. Walcott notes that each couple is unique, and each has different dreams of what their fairytale wedding should be. According to Walcott, "While they may be sharing their day with 13 other couples, we have given them our undivided attention and allowed them many opportunities to individualise and personalise areas of their wedding. So, while they may share the stage at the ceremony, each couple is dressed just how they want to be, their flowers are the colours they dreamed of, and their cabana allows for their own unique style and is private to accommodate them and their specially invited guests only.

This year, the organisers have added some special elements to make this year bigger and better. One such element is a bachelor and bachelorette party. They also have a whatsapp group, and every morning each couple wakes up with a greeting to their fellow brides and grooms. "The one thing that keeps them talking is that while they know where the grooms are having their party, no one has any clue where the brides are going - so they keep playing a guessing game.

One lucky couple will also get the chance to win a fabulous weekend at Secrets Resort, Courtesy of LIME, they have a couples challenge and the couple with the most points wins. The challenges include video clips of them singing, morning routine photos and lots more that the public can vote on and be a part of 14-14-14. This year, there will also be a spectator zone where members of the public can go and witness the mass wedding at a small cover charge.
