Gatorade, the official hydration beverage of the annual Sagicor Sigma Run, will this year host a series of warm-up and preparation sessions for participants in this year's event. The sessions will be held each Monday and Thursday leading up to the major event set for Sunday, February 22, at

Emancipation Park, New Kingston.

Under the guidance of fitness instructor Andrew Newell, the sessions will include exercise routines as well as talks about proper hydration and the

benefits and functions of Gatorade.

According to Cornelia Nathan, we are quite committed to any cause or movement that

promotes a healthy lifestyle.

"Gatorade is all about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We are using the Sigma Run to promote our fitness and hydration tips with runners and walkers involved in this year's charity event," Nathan said.

"In addition to offering valuable advice, Gatorade will be offering refreshment at these sessions as well as the main event," she explained. The event kicked off last Monday at 5:30 p.m.
