Lawrence's day make-up a very light smokey eye and nude lips.

When it comes to make-up, it should enhance. But sometimes if we are not careful, it ages us.

Flair solicited the experts from anne martin for some tips on how to use make-up to keep that youthful look.

They advise the following:

• For a woman in her 30s a concealer is her best friend to help hide the dark spots and circles around the eyes.

• When it comes to day make-up, less is more. If you are going to do eye make-up, light earth tones will go a far way. Never apply the bronzer to the entire face, only on areas that are usually highlighted by the sun, like the forehead, close to the hairline, the centre of the nose, the jawline. Also as you get older you should avoid the sparkles. It tends to find the creases in your face highlighting wrinkles instead of minimising or hiding them.

• For a night look, its all about the application and not the shades. Go easy on the smokey eyes as this ages you. Try a light smokey and go strong with the lips. While you can contour a little, you do not have to go to the extreme.

• Always remember that less is more; you do not need to try to cover up your age, just enhance the face.
