Let Love SPArkle on Valentine’s Day
As is customary every year, the 35-year-old Jencare Skin Farm creates a special line of beauty products for Valentine's Day.
This year, founder/conceptualiser Jennifer Samuda and daughter Peta-Gay have come up with eight formulations to cleanse, moisturise, nourish and soften the body, under the brand name SPArkle!
The business has grown tremendously from its start in Samuda's kitchen to its lavish Hope Road headquarters in St Andrew, along with branches in Trinidad, Miami and New York. Jennifer boasts that her daughter, Peta-Gay, now writes her own formulas that she simply tweaks, which represent her own brand and the company's succession plan, aptly named NextJen. Her brother. Michael, is credited for coming up with the exotic names given to the product lines over the years.
For Valentine's Day, the new products are: SPArkle Cleansing Foam, which will remove dirt and oils from the face and is recommended for all skin types, while the SPArkle Hydrating Moisturiser is a natural product with vitamins and minerals to restore and hydrate the skin, leaving it supple, healthy and radiant. This product is recommended for normal, dry and combination skin.
SPArkle Shower Body Conditioner contains vitamins and minerals that help to restore and hydrate the skin, leaving it naturally radiant. It is to be applied to the skin while you are still in the shower, after cleansing - then you rinse off before you pat dry. This product is ideal for all skin types.
The new Skin Brightening Moisturiser is a natural product that increases the cell renewal process in order to eliminate discolouration, resulting in radiant, even-tone skin. It can be used by persons with normal, combination and oily skin. The new line also comprises a Sensitive Skin Moisturiser, In Shower Body Cleanser, and a Body Aroma Oil.
And if you want to leave a really lasting impression this Valentine's Day, get your lover's favourite liquid elixir in any of a variety of red heart, square, round or cylindrical-shaped glass bottles, that have been
decorated with stones and beads by the elder Samuda. These bottles will last as long as you want them to and can be reused as the perfect vase, candle holder or accent item for your favourite room in the house.
