I know many of my articles have been focused on women, but guys, this one is for you! Girls, go ahead and share these with the men in your life.

It is often said that men aren't as into skin care and a beauty regimen like us women. But is that really true? Don't men want to look good too? As a skincare enthusiast, I'll share a few tips with men that I usually share with my friends and family.

Cleansing

Cleansing your skin is very important, but the first thing you need to do is wash your hands to limit the transfer of bacteria from your hands to your face. Washing your face rids it of the oils your skin produces and leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean.

The Magic Bump Rescue Exfoliating Cleanser with Charcoal is great! It gets rid of oil and dirt while unclogging pores and removing impurities. This cleanser also helps in preventing ingrown hairs, something I'm sure no one wants to deal with!

If you're struggling with acne, the Ari 3-in-1 shaving system is great for both men and women. Wash your face with the cleansing bar before shaving, then use the ariBumpGone solution to close the pores and treat any razor burns and follow up with the post-shave balm. If you already have spots from picking at ingrown hairs and acne, the ariFadeCream works wonders in getting rid of these dark marks. Just consistently use a little on the spots at night, and in no time, these spots should be gone.

Salicylic acid is great for removing scars and ingrown hairs. The Irie Rock 2 per cent salicylic acid anti acne on spot treatment definitely does the job. Just put a little on a Q-tip or on your ring finger, and apply to the spot - just the spot, not the area around it and you'll start to see results in a week!

Exfoliating

I know you men may be tired of hearing this, but this is something I cannot stress enough! Everyone and their grandmothers need to exfoliate, and men you are not excluded! After working hard all day, it is important to not only cleanse your skin, but you also need to get rid of the dead skin that accumulates on your face and body. It is also important to exfoliate before shaving. As you scrub away these dead skin cells, you expose those in-grown hairs and the removal of these hairs become easier!

Moisturise

I don't know many men who use moisturisers on their face, but this is a step I don't believe you should skip. Magic Bump Rescue 2-in-1 Moisturiser leaves your skin feeling great! Well, that's what I've heard from the men I've recommended it to. It doesn't leave the skin oily, and immediately hydrates the skin, also reducing the look of ingrown hairs.

Shaving

The Gillette Fusion: It is dermatologist recommended that men with curly hair keep a little stubble to prevent ingrown hairs. Keeping a little stubble will prevent the hair from curling back into the skin, The hair will curl above the skin, preventing the occurrence of ingrown hairs which I'm sure nobody wants!

Guys, you may think this is a lot, but, these are important steps to take to keep your skin looking wonderful!
