Babybop hosts charity drive

Babybop Kids is a baby-centric retailer that caters to 'little ones' from tummy to age five. They have a very special place in their hearts for children and want to extend that love with a charity drive of donated items from their customers and extended client database to give to the St Anthony's and St Mary's Children's Home, which is part of the Mustard Seed Communities. The drive began on August 30 and will end on September 30. Babybop aims to transition from being not just a retail space but to contribute and play their part in youth development.

There are 19 children living at the home between the ages of one and 17 and nine babies who are lacking in nutritious food, clothing and other basic necessities. Babybop wants to contribute in any way that they can to make the home more comfortable and conducive for the children's development. Marketing Manager Samantha Fisher stated: "As clichÈ as it may sound, no one has ever become poor from giving, and if you're in a position where you can help and give back to the community, why would you not do it?" With that said, they have partnered with family brands Lasco Distributors and Chas E. Ramson in order to make this a reality. Lasco's Brand Manager Krishta-Gay Lewis-Harewood and Chas E. Ramson's Brand Manager Michelle Farr-Vassell have pledged their support for this cause in the form of necessary baby products.

If you or anyone you know would like to support this worthy cause, please do not hesitate to contact Babybop. They are requesting your kind participation, through donations of the following items: diapers, formula, wipes, baby cereals, toys, toiletries and books. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
