United States President-elect Donald Trump meets hip hop artist Kanye West. Who saw that one coming? Just about everyone! Welcome to this week's 'Twas Trending. Let's get right to it, shall we?

Daddy Ryan Lochte

Olympic medallist Ryan Lochte announced that he is going to be a father. He's very excited about it, saying it's the best news he has ever received. Well, considering his Olympic scandal recently ... (sips tea like Kermit).

Trump meets West

This seemed like fate, really. Two radicals meeting and talking about 'life'. I wonder what plans they're cooking up for America and the world. The question on everybody's mind however was, what is going on for Kanye's bald head and fat cheeks? Side effects from his medication, maybe? Meanwhile, rumours continue to circulate about him splitting with wife Kim Kardashian. Let's see how this all plays out.

Ryan Reynolds family photo

Actor and comedian Ryan Reynolds has by far the cutest family ever! He and his wife, Blake Lively made their debut with their adorable new baby at Reynolds' Hollywood walk of fame ceremony last week. The four definitely screams family goals, in our book.

Biracial wedding a hit

A video of a biracial couple's first dance has gone viral. The husband and wife took their guests by surprise when they decided to honour the groom's heritage by embracing his culture and dancing to an Afrobeat song. He made his blonde wife the star if the show, and rightfully so because she slew the dance floor with her moves. Cheers to an epic first dance! And, congrats to the lovely newlyweds. P.S. who saw her doing the One Drop? She got moves!

Plastic rice?

The so-called plastic rice saga continues with people now calling just about everything plastic. Even views of plastic melon surfaced! But many Jamaicans, men in particular, added insult to injury when they claimed that women were only crying plastic rice as an excuse to throw out their already burnt rice.

Women under attack

What is going on with our Jamaican men killing our women? When did leaving become such an issue that they feel that they should turn assassin and take matters into their own hands? Then, they attempt to take their own lives. This trend needs to die a thousand deaths. And fast.
