You add the honey to one tablespoon of nutmeg and a tablespoon of cinnamon for the facial mask.
All the ingredients you need for your honey mask – lemon oil, honey and a blend of cinnamon and nutmeg.

Who said that your facial mask could not be sweet enough to eat? Well, this week on DIY Jo I am helping you to make a facial mask sweet like honey.

I always heard of a honey mask. How great honey is good for the skin, and all I could think of is sticky and ants. But if you search online you see tonnes of honey or honey cinnamon, but having all those sweets on your face is something that you maybe would not believe is the best for acne.

Well, of course, I had to give it a try, and while this is not an original recipe, it is my first and only mask and I have found it to be extremely effective.

See the recipe below:

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp cinnamon

1 tbsp nutmeg

4 drops of lemon oil

Mix together and you should be able to feel the grains.

Apply to face evenly. Let it set for at least 15 minutes to as long as a half hour, then rinse. This can be done nightly after you have removed all your make-up. Gently rinse and then mask.
