Nestled in the hustle and bustle of the Corporate Area on South Camp Road is an oasis callED Gee Wee Restaurant and Lounge, which caters to the discriminating taste buds of the variety of clients they serve on a daily basis.

Among the tasty dishes on the menu when Food visited were rasta pasta, veggie chunks, ginger-fried chicken wings, barbie-fried with bammies, curried shrimp with white rice, jerked pork with festival, and steamed fish and vegetable.

Patrons at the venue told Food that the restaurant has become a favourite because the food is always good and so it will continue to hold a very special place in their stomachs.

"I really enjoy the service here and the food is very tasty, that is why I am here now. Their seafood is my favourite. They cook fish very well, so I am here every day," said Michael Mundle.

Proprietor Corine Jackwette told Food that being across from the entrance of the Jamaica Defence Force headquarters, the business has grown and become very popular in the five years that it has been in existence.

"I think the business has grown with the clientele, which is varied. I think that this has helped us to remain focused and serve the patrons to the best of our ability. It is for this reason that we keep training our staff to meet the demands of the hospitality industry," she explained.
