Just picture a world of pasta but no tomato sauce, chips sans dip, or tacos minus the salsa. Now that is just a life worth ditching. Sauces not only add colour but extra flavour to our meals, providing the perfect balance between dry and moist, adding an unmistakable oomph, tipping the scale to making our dishes something special.

Locally, our condiments tell a wonderful tale of the eclectic fusion of savoury and sweet uniquely Jamaican, from Solomon Gundy served with crackers, to chutney, spread on sandwiches or paired with curried meats.

Having launched its original ketchup line 40 years ago, Grace decided to develop exclusive recipes, including its most recent spicy curry and creamy coconut sauces, to highlight the many ways the brand can be used in the kitchen. Offering a fresh twist on condiments, these sauces are a yummy addition to seasoned fries, burgers and hot dogs.

The spicy curry and creamy coconut sauces have already been stirring up quite a buzz around the island, making the rounds at this year's CB Pan Chicken Championship and was a huge hit at the Western Regional Eliminations in Montego Bay recently.

"From making sauces and dips to stretching meals, our ketchup really does make 'everything taste better'!" shared Rachael Browne, brand manager for Grace Tomato Ketchup. "We've showcased these sauce recipes at the last two pan chicken competitions and the patrons loved them, especially the spicy curry, but they're both soooo good," she revealed.

Consumers can easily whip up these delicious flavours for themselves by following the simple steps outlined on recipe cards posted on www.gracefoods.com.
