Grog Shoppe Restaurant and Bar is offering an irresistible Jamaican favourite this Restaurant Week.

This is their fourth year participating in the savoury category, and this year, they are serving up a dish that we are used to with a new twist - jerked pork - with teriyaki sauce and ginger. This spicy favourite is something that customers love, the sauce is mixed with Jamaican spices that you just cannot resist.

"Teriyaki sauce with the Jamaican spices used to make the jerked pork is something that the customers love," said head chef Denise Evan. 'Spicy' and 'delicious' are just two words to describe this delectable dish. The dish is served with mashed potatoes and garlic callaloo.

If you do not eat pork, you definitely will not be left out at Grog Shoppe. They will also be offering a delicious stuffed chicken breast with callaloo with a light curried cream sauce served with creamed sweet potato and a wanton cup of sauteed vegetables.

Chef Paula Bramwell-Wilmot describes this dish as seductive, spicy and creamy. "The dish has a little international flair, but is still rich with our spices," said Bramwell-Wilmot.

It does not matter which dish you chose this RW at Grog Shoppe because they will all hit the spot.
