The Super Spicy Double
Lunch has never been better at Super Spicy Doubles during this Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week (RW).
One of the special signature dishes that landed a space on the RW's menu is the 'buss up shot' - ripped up roti, curried potato and channa (chick peas), curried pumpkin, curried chicken and sweet and sour curried mango along with a bag of Kurma for dessert - a crunchy bread stick caramel coated, ginger and cinnamon butter.
Another famous dish is the double delight dish - a must-have for this RW - two seasoned vegetable or fruit patty channa garnished with cucumber, coconut chutney, a bag of aloo pie, bag of pholouri and dessert - a bag of Kurma.
Owner and manager Nicole Hall originally from the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago, has found her passion. She always wanted to do Trini food and the business 'just happened'. Her dishes are influenced by cuisine from Trinidad and Tobago, Portuguese and Indian. Hall's Mona-based restaurant also offers a delivery service in the Kingston and St Andrew area.
Treat yourself to a fusion of Caribbean cuisines when you partake in a Nyam & Scram lunch special from Super Spicy Double.
