When you find executive chefs frequently dining at a particular restaurant, you know, without question, that the food served there is delicious. Such is the case of The HouseBoat Grill, located in Montego Freeport.

In fact, on any given day of the week, chefs can be spotted among other diners gorging on the scrumptious meals, expertly seasoned and cooked by Executive Chef Richard Nurse and his team of assistants.

Throughout the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week (RW), diners will have the opportunity to feast on a variety of the HouseBoat's signature-flavoured dishes, where Caribbean and international cuisine form a variety of delightful fusions.

A surf and turf, made up of grilled beef tenderloin and garlic butter lobster, served with a spicy Scotch bonnet beurre blanc, roasted garlic, mashed potatoes and brown butter carrots is among the specially discounted entrées that Chef Nurse has slated for RW.

Diners, be warned: This dish is guaranteed to give you the best 'foodgasm' you've ever had! And there's no better way to enhance your enjoyment than with a glass or two of your favourite wine or other alcoholic beverage from the restaurant's amply stocked bar.

But, not only is the HouseBoat Grill bursting with flavours, its ambience is also uniquely one of a kind. Moored in the tranquil waters of the Montego Bay Marine Park Fish Sanctuary, guests are able to dine in a private setting, completely surrounded by nature.

The HouseBoat Grill opens daily for dinner; reservations are recommended.
