Hilton's three Palms delight senses

Food lovers who are looking to conquer their bucket list should certainly start with a visit to the Three Palms restaurant at Hilton Rose Hall, Resort and Spa, where a dining experience like no other awaits.

Last Tuesday night, the restaurant played host to a lavish diner party put on by the Sagicor Group to celebrate the launch of their partnership with world-renowned hospitality brand, Curio - A Collection by Hilton.

Among the guests that feasted on the elaborate spread were Minister of Tourism Dr Wykeham McNeill; Director of Tourism Paul Pennicook; chief executive officer for Sagicor Group, Richard Byles; and global head for Curio - A Collection by Hilton, Dianna Vaughan, along with several other business representatives.

Guests were wined and dined in a beautiful garden setting, surrounded by beautifully flowering plants and miniature palms. Burning candles, lanterns and a fireplace added to the ambience which was further outfitted with an array of culinary stations, each displaying eye-popping and mouth-watering options.

Diners had the freedom of visiting each station, where they were served by the resort's attentive chefs. Grilled lobster, succulent lamb chops and roast beef were just a few of the main-course options accompanied by varying sides, which included Greek salad, jerk-toasted pecans and a delicious macaroni and cheese. Shrimp chowder served in unique bamboo bowls was the preferred starter for the night.

"All this tonight is as a result of our team members pulling together," Carole Bourke, general manager of the Hilton by Rose Hall Resort and Spa, told Food. "The menu was inspired by our Group Chef Ravi Anne and Michael Dannaker, our on-property chef. They came together and made tonight not just a buffet, but an experience. We eat with our eyes and we simply wanted tonight to be magical for our guests," Bourke added.

The Just Us band, which features husband and wife duo of Wayne and Delrine Holness, further complimented the night with their piano beats and soothing love songs.
