BETTY Festive Cookies

Serves: 20

Total preparation time: 35 minutes


3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, ground

1/2 cup raisin chopped

1/2 cup cranberries dried and chopped

1/4 cup cherries chopped

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup BETTY Sweetened Condensed Milk

1 large egg

1/2 cup water

Preparation Steps

Pre-heat oven to 375?F. Combine all dry ingredients; cream butter and sugar until sugar is mostly dissolved. Add BETTY sweetened condensed milk and egg to the mixture; then add the dry ingredients slowly until fully combined.

Use a tablespoon spoon to drop mixture onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes; allow cookies to sit five minutes on tray, then remove to wire rack and cool completely.

BETTY Bread Pudding

Serves: 14

Total preparation time: 35 minutes


10 Slices Whole wheat bread cube, dried

1/2 cup raisins

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

21/2 cups CARNATION Full Cream Evaporated Milk

1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground

2 tablespoons White Rum Optional

1 cup Betty Sweetened Condensed Milk

2 medium egg

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, grated

Preparation Steps

Pre-heat oven to 180degC or (350?F). In a large bowl, whisk eggs, add BETTY Sweetened Condensed milk and combine well, add SUPLIGEN, vanilla essence and rum.

In another bowl, combine bread and all the other dry ingredients. Pour BETTY mixture over bread and stir to combine. Let sit for 10-15 minutes (allowing bread to absorb liquid).

Pour mixture into prepared baking pan, garnish as desired. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Allow bread pudding to cool 10 minutes before serving.
