Coconut-crusted shrimp slated to be the main attraction at Pier One during Restaurant Week 2015.

Pier 1 on the Waterfront is known for its coconut-crusted shrimp. This special deep-fried shrimp is prepared with fresh ingredients, including coconut flakes, garlic, salt and pepper. A mango-ginger sauce is made to complement the lip-smacking shrimp.

"People go for it expecting this marvellous sauce," said executive chef Clinton Bullings, who has been working at the waterfront restaurant for the past 26 years.

"Already, persons are making calls to enquire if we are going to do the coconut-crusted shrimp."
