The Sugabuzz Bake N' Make Summer Camp

The summer is about to become a whole lot more fun as Sugabuzz Desserts gets ready to host its inaugural 'Bake N' Make' Summer Camp.

There will be two camps, one for children ages five to nine years old, which will run from Monday, July 25 to Friday, July 29, and the other for children ages 10-12, set to run from Tuesday, August 2 to Thursday, August 5.

Both camps will take place at Sugabuzz Desserts' new office, located at 21 Norcross Avenue, Forest Hill Gardens, Kingston 19.

According to owner/CEO of Sugabuzz Desserts, Suelan Chung-Evans, she thought the 'Bake N' Make' camp would be a great experience for the youngsters, and something different to occupy their time over the summer break.

"I thought it would be something different and fun for the kids to do over the summer period, as we plan to get them involved in art and craft projects, baking and decorating," said Chung-Evans.

Both camps will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and provisions are also being made (at an additional cost) for aftercare, where the kids will share in a 'Movie N' Popcorn' time, while awaiting pickup.

"We know summers are filled with parties, trips abroad and all, but this is another fun option that parents can explore, as their kids will engage in meaningful learning while having fun," Chung-Evans said.

The cost for camps are $10,000 and $8,000, respectively, and

the deadline for registration is Wednesday, July 20.

"At the end of the 'Bake N' Make' Summer Camp, each child will get a certificate of participation and a CD with pics of what they did over the duration of the camp. We also want to encourage parents to register their children early because spaces are limited," Chung-Evans closed.
