Allison Porter Smalling and her Best Dressed sweet and spicy glazed chicken wings.

In many ways, Allison Porter Smalling has lucked out. She's building a business doing exactly what she loves, and most of all it keeps her close to home.

With Ally's Kitchen, a her booming catering operation, she's throwing down delicious eats at everything from private VIP dinners to daily lunches for the desk set. "In between all of that, I have to feed my family, who have very high expectations for what they eat. As far as they are concerned, they are my first and most important clients, so I better come good, when I'm cooking for them," she says with her signature warm laugh.

"Tonight I have a dinner for 20 guests, but the kids are home with their friends, so for them it's wings. Who doesn't love wings?" For her recipe, Allison chooses The Best Dressed Chicken Wings in the resealable bag. "Time is a premium for me, as it is for most working moms. These wings are frozen individually so I can cook as many or as little I like."
