Tucked inside the seaside Port Royal community is the seafood oasis call Beach View Restaurant and Bar.

When the Food team visited recently, there was a delightful selection of dishes on display. Roasted conch, fried lobster, kebabs, fried fish sandwiches, curried conch, sweet and sour conch accompanied by vegetable and festivals.

The restaurant was well-decorated with white tablecloth and banana leaves to complement the setting.

"It is a very good place to dine and be entertained. This is off the road; the sea just gives the place a wholesome setting. The food is very tasty and enjoyable due to the reasonable prices," customer Shawn Malcolm shared.

Proprietor Tashnee Tomilson, said that she is a trained nurse, however, food preparation is big part of who she is.

"I just cook whatever dishes are required and it shows that persons enjoy it. I do enjoy doing my food as I can remember growing up and seeing persons wanting certain dishes but could not prepare or afford it. I feel really good about food preparation so it is a labour of love," Tomilson told Food.
