This year is the third time The Black Orchid Restaurant at Eden Gardens is participating in the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week and, as before, expect their offerings to be exquisite!

While they get to treat their loyal customers during the week, they also get an increase of newcomers to the restaurant.

Restaurant Manager Ashley Barnett says that The Black Orchid is the place to be for Restaurant Week. "We offer luxury, great ambience and fine cuisine at a great price. We offer so much more than food."

The food, however, is something to look forward to. With the Apple Mint Pork Chops being the chef special, for pork lovers, you definitely cannot go wrong. This is a succulent slow-roasted pork chops bursting with flavour, simmered in their very own barbecue sauce and finished with apple mint vodka. It is one of the specialities of Executive Chef Xavier Murphy, who guided Kevin Thompson so well that he could produce this dish in his absence.

Do not worry. There is also a fisherman's paradise for those who prefer not to have pork and want a toe-curling dish from the deep blue sea.
