Twin Gates Bar and Lounge is the place to chill with friends and take your palates on a high.

While many will be familiar with the name for the past five years, they have been in the industry for seven. This hip restaurant is opened to their customers Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. until they say when offering everything that a customer could desire. When it comes to palatable offerings, the options are endless.

Variety of options

"We prepare a variety of tasty and nutritious dishes both local and international, served with your choice of natural juices or ice cold beers. All of which are very reasonably priced," restaurant manager Rolando Barrett tells Food.

He also boasts of the professional and warm service they provide. But if you are looking for a bit of entertainment, then the 180 inches hi-definition projection screen is perfect to enjoy your favourite sporting events complemented with surround sound.

They host weekly and monthly events so patrons get the chance to taste and experience a difference.

As it pertains to customers favourites, when it comes to the cuisine it is very difficult to choose just one. However, the top picks would include their curried goat and roti, pepper steak and oxtail and beans. Barrett's personal favourite, however, is the TGL Appleton Garlic Lobster.

One cannot go wrong with a little Wray and Nephew in your actual dish and TGL knows this all too well. Their flavourful Appleton barbecued pork chops, Appleton Garlic Lobster or Barbecued wings with a touch of Campari is worth sinking your teeth into.

And when it comes to libations, Wray and Nephew products tend to be one of the favourites. Barrett personally believes that it is the consistency and refined taste of these products that keeps them not only memorable but popular on the local and international market. So he knows he will be able to please quite a few customers once they have their products in the bar. The most popular ones whether straight or in a cocktail include; Hennessy, Appleton VX and Reserve, Campari, White Rum, Magnum and Molina Wine. They are a whizz at cocktails too here are just a few
