Neville Anderson, head chef and manager at L'Escargot French restaurant in Runaway Bay, St Ann, is happy to be part of Restaurant Week for the second year after a fabulous introduction last year.

Things will be even better this time around, he expects, for both customers and the fine- dining restaurant.

"Last year was very, very good. I can't complain at all. So this year, we're back in the same category," Anderson said.

"This year, customers can expect the best once again. After all, we're a French fine- dining restaurant.

My waitresses, my staff have gotten a lot of praise, they know when to appear and when to disappear, they're soft spoken and explain exquisitely item by item, it's like they know exactly what they're going to be getting."

Once again in the Epicurean Category, L'Escargot diners can look forward to mouth-watering entrees such as beef tenderloin grilled to your choice with herbed lemon butter, garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables; grilled giant prawns in orange curry sauce; or grilled lobster.

L'Escargot is located along the main road (North Coast Highway) and is therefore easily accessible.

"Diners can expect the best candlelight dining, French music in the background and other piano music.

It's a quite subdued ambiance, and we're ready to serve you." said Anderson:
