8 Spices for Restaurant Week

Restaurant Week is just around the corner and 8 Spices Restaurant and Bar is here to add their spicy flavour to the lineup of Savoury restaurants.

They are offering a wide array of dishes, some traditional Jamaican dishes and other dishes that just has a Jamaican touch or flavour. One of the hits being offered for appetiser is the blood-fire wings, this is a hot and spicy yet tangy wings made with Jamaican scotch bonnet pepper, one of the eight spices the restaurant is known for.

However, if you are faint of heart and prefer something less spicy but still have a bit of a zest to it then the jerk pork sausage skewers are for you.

For the main course you can sink your teeth into succulent pieces of oxtail marinated and stewed in 8 Spices oxtail sauce with fresh Jamaican herbs and spices. Of course stewed oxtail is not completed without butter beans. This dish is served with Jamaican style rice and peas.

Their Roast Fish dish is also available. This whole red snapper marinated in 8 Spices jerk seasoning stuffed with pumpkin okra and carrots roasted in an open jerk pan.

Do not forget dessert. You can satisfy your sweet tooth with a brownie or pineapple coconut bread pudding. Both that will satisfy your palatable desires.
