Juvauney Dacres is a self-taught chef. He told Food that his desire for a healthier diet prompted him to invest in the culinary venture and with the guidance of his mother, everything is a success.

“I love food and I’m passionate about cooking. When we started out, rice and peas was the major side dish we had. But over time our menu changed because we realised that Jamaica is going healthy. Everyone is eating properly. So, we figured, why not join them?” Dacres explained.

Currently, the food masterminds operate out of a small home-based kitchen, serving only lunches. However, they hope to expand the catering side of the business, soon, to be better able to serve its customers. Also, the food sanctum delivers in and around the Kingston and St Andrew regions.
