Two-second test to tell if eggs are still good

So you've had a bunch of eggs chilling in your fridge for the last few weeks, and you are now in the mood for a nice egg breakfast. But how can you be sure that they're not totally rotten?

Well, there is a simple two-second test to easily rectify that. Simply fill a bowl with cold water and drop one in. If it sinks to the bottom, it's still good, but if it floats to the top, that means it's time to throw it out.

According to the 'eggsperts', when eggs are on the older side, they have more air in them, which makes them float.
