Fit 4 Life | Are You Up To The Challenge?
Today, we introduce The Gleaner's Fit 4 Life 12-Week Lifestyle/Fitness Challenge.
We challenge you to make the lifestyle changes necessary to become your best self.
Don't worry, we will be there to guide you. To make sure you get off to a great start, we have laid out an easy-to-follow guide inclusive of training and nutritional guidance and more.
So, are you up to the challenge?
* Squat jump - 60 seconds
* Sit-up - 60 seconds
* Push-up - 60 seconds
Complete our physical fitness test before starting the challenge and post you results online.
Perform the exercises without rest for one minute each. Record your reps every time you test yourself. We will use this to gauge your improvement at the end of the challenge.
TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
1. Dress in clothes that show your shape accurately, nothing too tight or too loose.
2. Have several posing shots taken. You should have at least three: a front view, back view, and side view. If you're having someone else take the photo, have them take several from each angle.
3. Try to look natural. No sucking it in, or slouching. Show your real shape, in face and body, so you can see the improvements later on.
4. Upload your pictures to your Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter with the #fit4lifeja. Try to reproduce the same environment each time you take a future progress photo. Use the same room at the same time of day and shoot from the same angle and distance. Maybe even wear the same clothes - if they still fit!
