Personal trainers Kurt Dunn from Body By Kurt, Marvin Gordon, and Lorenzo McIntosh turned up the heat at the FLOW Flex Gym on Saturday for The Gleaner's Fit 4 Life sixth event, in its Season Two's Tuff Enuff Challenge.

5k run, leg works, weight training, treadmill run, cycling and abs work proved more than enough to work the full turnout of participants at the FLOW Flex Gym at FLOW's head office in St Andrew.

No doubt, everyone got a great, sweat-drenching workout, pushing every muscle to its limit.

Did they have enough energy left to take on the challenges?

Power shakes made with Foska Oats and Blue Diamond Almond Milk from sponsor Chas E. Ramson, as well as delicious samplings from GraceKennedy's Caribbean Choice really helped to refuel.

Sponsor Medical Associates gave free medical checks to ensure everyone was fit and ready.

The static dumb-bell hold, kettlebell walk and bear crawl challenges were fun and entertaining, allowing winners to earn prizes such as gift baskets from sponsor Chas E. Ramson; gift baskets from GraceKennedy; one-month membership with Life Fit Training Centre; Fit 4 Life gift bags, T-shirts and water bottles.

GraceKennedy's Western Union representatives were on hand to share info about their services.

The countdown heats up. Six more weeks to go. On Saturday, August 4, The Gleaner's Fit 4 Life team joins the Sweet Energy Fitness Club and Fit Rev Fitness Revolution Club at the Police Officers' Club, 34 Hope Road, St Andrew.

Everyone is invited to come out to each of the Saturday morning boot camps, free of cost, as the Fit 4 Life team journeys with Jamaica to a healthy, fitter life.
