The hunt is over! The 18 achievers have been selected! It's now time to get the ball rolling!

It was just last month that LIME and The Gleaner once again joined forces and launched a search for 18 students to be awarded for achieving great results in the 2014 Grade Six Achievement Test, despite difficult circumstances.

With the aim to select one from each parish, plus four persons deserving of special mention, the response was overwhelming.

The parish awardees will each receive a $20,000 book allowance, $10,000 contribution for uniform items, and a tablet computer. The specially selected students will also receive a reward. The achievers will not only be LIME Skool Aid ambassadors, but they will also go on an exciting shopping spree.

The selectees, who are being recognised during the fifth anniversary of LIME's Skool Aid and the 180th anniversary of The Gleaner, will be highlighted in the pages of the newspaper during the coming days, beginning today.
