Growing registrations for Paymaster Loyalty Rewards Programme
When Jamaica's pioneering multi-bill payment agency Paymaster Jamaica Limited launched its loyalty reward programme in August, it set a target of reaching 10,000 customers monthly. Since then, the company has been tracking close to its target of customers who have started to take advantage of the Paymaster Loyalty Rewards Programme by registering for membership.
"We are especially pleased that the rate of registration has been steadily increasing since the launch of our 'Service Excellence is an Attitude' campaign in October," said Ambassador Audrey Marks, chief executive officer of the company in an interview with The Gleaner.
Customers were made aware of the programme through a series of dedicated product training sessions for Paymaster's front line staff so that they could encourage customers to join the Paymaster Loyalty Rewards programme (PLRP) and reap benefits. The company also set up a toll-free line at its contact centre to ensure easy access to more information.
Much work needed
"Paymaster is one of the first companies to have a combined customer-centric rewards programme of free insurance and discounts with major retailers islandwide. We recognise much work is needed to make customers aware of the rewards they are missing out on with every bill that they pay elsewhere, so apart from our direct outreach, we have also introduced additional rewards for members' referrals," Marks added.
More than 35,000 registrants of PLRP were issued with a temporary card at the time of registration and a membership number was allocated instantly. A personalised permanent card is issued to loyal members who continue to pay three bills with Paymaster for three consecutive months.
She said that customers who have not yet joined the PLRP deprive themselves of unparalleled benefits that come at no additional cost. These include: free insurance enrolment in Paymaster's group insurance with Sagicor Jamaica Insurance Company for a $150,000 critical illness and accidental death and dismemberment coverage. The programme also gives cost savings and discounts for a wide range of services from scores of current participating merchants and service partners; and members will also accumulate value points based on the number of bills they pay, which can yield savings of an average $5,000 per month, all with the spirit of staying true to our service mantra, "It pays to pay at Paymaster".
