Christmas arrived a little early for thousands of commuters in the Kingston Metropolitan Area, as they received an unexpected treat from local ham producer, Caribbean Passion.

The team took to the streets of downtown Kingston, Waterloo Road, New Kingston and Barbican and surprised motorists and pedestrians, whose happy faces greeted the brand ambassadors as surprised ham lovers received complimentary ham sandwiches during their morning commute.

"We wanted to help spread the spirit of Christmas by offering Monday commuters a morning treat and a preview of what Christmas could taste like with our hams. Our hams come fully cooked and are ready to eat," said Tina Hamilton, brand manager for CB Foods.

A part of the CB Group, Caribbean Passion is a local brand that produces ready-to-eat sausages, hams, rotisserie chicken and smoked meats, which are available in supermarkets islandwide.
