COJO shows PJ The Door

The Door Restaurant in Queens, New York, recently hosted a number of top donors and sponsors of Children of Jamaica Outreach (COJO) Inc at a private dinner.

A past COJO honouree, The Door Restaurant fêted the specially invited guests including former Prime Minister P.J. Patterson to a three-course meal ahead of the organisation's 20th annual scholarship gala.

COJO is the brainchild of Jamaica-born American Gary Williams.

The mission of the non-profit organisation, based in New York, is to help improve the health, education and general well-being of less fortunate children.

Since inception in 1994, COJO has dedicated its resources, human and financial, to help make a difference in the lives of underserved children in Jamaica as well as the US.
