Wanted men get noon deadline

The police have given three men they consider persons of interest in last week Tuesday's gun slaying of Constable Lynden Barrett until noon today to report to the Denham Town Police Station, St Andrew.

Those wanted for questioning by the police are Gratiano Green, otherwise called 'Beh Beh', of Regent Street and Tulip Lane in Denham Town, Kingston 14; Nicholas Drummond, otherwise called 'Ticki Dollar', of Christopher Road, Kingston 14, and Horatio Livine, also called 'Ratio' of Dread Lane, Denham Town, Kingston 14.

Constable Lynden Barrett, who was assigned to the Kingston Western Division, was shot and killed in the vicinity of Wellington Street, Kingston, at about 8:20 on the evening of Tuesday, July 21. The lawmen believe that these men can assist them with information regarding his death.

They are asking anyone knowing the whereabouts of Green, Drummond and or Livine to contact the Denham Town Police at 948-6443, Police 119 emergency

number or the nearest police station.

 

Suspect in custody

 

Meanwhile, the Constabulary Communications Unit has advised that a suspect in the shooting death of Constable Crystal Thomas, exactly a week earlier, remains in police custody.

The woman constable was shot three times in the face while attempting to foil a robbery on a Toyota Coaster, while on her way home from work at the Denham Town Police Station.
