United States President Barack Obama addresses a youth forum at the University of the West Indies, Mona, on April 9 last year.

The Caribbean Policy Research Institute (CaPRI) will today host a youth town hall meeting that is intended to mark the one-year anniversary of the visit of United States President Barack Obama to Jamaica.

The event continues the Dialogues between Democracies series and will seek to capture the youth perspectives on the future of US-Jamaica bilateral relations.

Floyd Green, minister of state in the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information, is expected to sit on a high-level youth panel that will also feature young entrepreneurs and representatives of the Guild of Students at the University of the West Indies (UWI).

The themes to be explored include social inclusion, security, health and prosperity, and good governance.

The event is set for 6 o'clock at the Assembly Hall at the UWI.
