The Electoral Office of Jamaica (EOJ) is reporting that up to 3 o'clock, 20.94 per cent of voters had turned up to vote in 7,050 polling stations island-wide in the Local Government election.

This equates to 387,109 electors.

Meanwhile, the EOJ says 17,079 electors had voted for the mayor of the Municipality of Portmore.

This accounts for 18.35 percent of the electors eligible to vote in that election.
