Looking on is Norma Harris (second left), public relations officer for the club, which is celebrating it's 50th anniversary. The club presented gift baskets to mothers of the first three babies born at the VJH on Christmas Day.

Nicoye Hall and Izakera Wright yesterday joined their names together and welcomed baby Nic-Kera into the world.

Little Nic-Kera, already a blessing to her parents, was also the first baby born at the Victoria Jubilee Hospital in Kingston on Christmas Day.

With that distinction, parents and child benefited from the annual visit of the Latin American Women's Club, which each year brings gifts for the first three babies born at the hospital on Christmas Day.
