Farmers stranded on roof at Plantain Garden River agro-park, seeking JDF's help

At least three farmers are now stranded at The Plantain Garden River agro-park in eastern St Thomas where they work.

It is reported that the farmers who went to the agropark yesterday have been marooned since last night.

The farmers are reportedly stuck on the roof of a building which is now completely covered by flood waters.

It is reported that contact has been made with two of the farmers but they are reportedly unable to reach the other.

The farmers are appealing to the JDF for help.
