JUTC to conduct full investigation into breaches
The Jamaica Urban Transit Company Limited (JUTC) is reporting that it has completed its preliminary audit of alleged breaches within its Charter Services Unit.
The audit was triggered after irregularities were identified in the unit last month. Four members of the division were sent on leave pending the outcome of a full review.
The state-owned bus company said an emergency meeting was held last Friday evening during which the board discussed the preliminary findings of the audit and mandated the management to conduct a full investigation.
Declining to comment further, the JUTC said following the outcome, a decision would be made on the way forward.
