Nerves and optimism as Junior Quiz heads into week four

It is already week four of the TVJ Junior Schools' Challenge Quiz competition, and the matches continue to heat up with some surprising results along the way.

Getting the competition started this week are two schools from St Andrew, as Half-Way Tree Primary will battle Meadowbrook Preparatory in what promises to be an interesting match.

Sandra Campbell, coach of Half-Way Tree Primary, said the team's energy level is up, and the students are looking forward to the contest.

Meadowbrook's coach Kevin Allen said his team is a bit nervous, but they are very optimistic about today's match.

"We did the work, and I believe we should reap the reward," Allen said.

Other matches this week

- Friendship Primary takes on Port Morant Primary in Tuesday's match-up.

- On Wednesday, Mayfield All-Age faces off with Hagley Park Preparatory

- Thursday's match will be between Marlie Mount Primary and Duhaney Park Primary.

- The final match in week four will see Homestead Primary and Supreme Preparatory clashing for a spot in Round Two.
