Hailey Baker, the one-month-old baby who was born with a rare genetic disorder which required $31 million for treatment, has died.

Hailey died at the University Hospital of the West Indies this morning where she had been admitted for the last three weeks.

The one-month-old was diagnosed with an inborn error of metabolism which cannot be treated locally.

Her family was in need of $25 million to get her treated at the Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami and another $6 million to charter an air ambulance to get her to the hospital.
