The People's National Party (PNP) has retained the Norman Gardens division with an emphatic win in yesterday's by-election.

Jacqueline Lewis, former principal of Rennock Lodge All-Age School in Rockfort, easily scored victory at the polls over the Jamaica Labour Party's Headley Wilson.

When the Electoral Office of Jamaica (EOJ) counted the votes Lewis accumulated 2,062 votes to Wilson's 124. The EOJ reported a 16 per cent voter turnout for the Norman Gardens division.
