Dining extravaganza awaits at Restaurant Week 2018

SSCo Event Management and The RJRGLEANER Communications Group hosted an exhilarating launch of the 14th staging of Restaurant Week yesterday on the front lawns of Devon House in St Andrew. With a record number of more than 100 participating restaurants, Restaurant Week 2018 will witness yet another year of culinary excellence across the island from November 9-17.

Yesterday's launch highlighted the exciting gastronomical experience persons can expect at this year's staging, as the delightful scents of honey-glazed pork, mouth-watering Alfredo pasta, and a savoury assortment of fresh seafood delicacies stimulated the senses of all in attendance. Patrons sampled delectable dishes while strolling through the fashion zone and indulging in home-fresh goodies from the farmers' market.

"We are now working with the Jamaica Tourist Board to make Restaurant Week a calendar event for persons from around the world to come and experience," said Stephanie Scott, founder and managing director of SSCo Event Management.

Scott also emphasised how grateful she was for the hard work and dedication of the team at the RJRGLEANER Communications Group that continues to make Restaurant Week a success each year.

"This is our 14th staging, and with so many new sponsors on board, things will only get better," she said.

Terri-Karelle Reid, master of ceremonies for the event, kept the vibe going, despite a sudden downpour of rain, with beautiful and eye-catching giveaways from local designers and sponsors. DJ Audley played local hits that had both the young and young-at-heart showing off their best dance moves.
