Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta and his wife, Margaret, arrived in Jamaica at the Norman Manley International Airport yesterday for a three-day state visit.

Kenyatta and his delegation were greeted on arrival by Governor General Sir Patrick Allen, Prime Minister Andrew Holness and other state officials.

The half-hour welcome festivities were marked with cannon salutes.

During his stay, Kenyatta is expected to visit the Denbigh Agricultural, Industrial and Food Show as Holness’ guest today, which is dubbed ‘Prime Minister Day’.
