Six new imported COVID cases increase tally to 721, five more recoveries

All six patients – four males and two females – arrived on flights from the United States.

Jamaica today recorded six more imported COVID cases pushing the overall tally to 721.

All six patients – four males and two females – arrived on flights from the United States. 

Five are non-Jamaicans: three staying in Westmoreland, one in St James and one in Kingston & St Andrew.

The sixth is a Jamaican with a St Andrew address.

Meanwhile, there have been five more recoveries increasing the total to 565.

Jamaica currently has 137 active COVID cases under observation, with one patient moderately ill.
