Rudolph Brown/Photographer A motorist slows down to drive through a pothole on Seaward Drive, Kingston, on Thursday. The road has been littered with dozens of craters for years, bringing traffic to crawl at sections, and providing fertile breeding grounds for mosquitoes after rainfall. The Aedes aegypti mosquito is the vector for the chikungunya virus which has afflicted thousands of Jamaicans with fever and pain, and has also been blamed for some deaths.
