Digicel credit disappearing quickly

On November 5, 2014, Digicel claimed that it made improvements to its data services. Customers were informed of this via text messages.

I had purchased a 30-day 4G/2G data service package for $1,750 on October 24, 2014. However, on Sunday, November 9, I got a text at 8:59 a.m. saying that I had less than 20MB left. At 9:05 a.m., I got another text saying I had less than 5MB left. At the time, I was attempting to upload a video to WhatsApp, which subsequently failed.

I had approximately $243 credit on my phone which, unknowingly, ran off via data usage. When I checked my credit, I had a balance of $82.93 remaining. I immediately turned off my data.

I went to Digicel's FB page and outlined my case but the post was deleted. I read the numerous complaints about the new data service rip-off and again made another post.

Digicel needs to come out and explain what is going on, as I am without data service and most of my credit. I would like both to be restored to my phone forthwith. In these days of hardships, we need to see value for our dollar, Digicel.
